Childhood: Pepinôt was born to Isolabelle and Sheldon Summers, also known as Enchantress of the Black Lake and Lupin. His parents quickly learned how to tell what he needed and when, and when he was hurt. He was a fairly easy-going child to deal with. At a young age he exhibited superpowered abilities and was encouraged to hide them due to possible danger targeting him should his powers be publicly known. He is diagnosed with diabetes, type 1. He begins to show an interest in things generally considered Gothic.
Teen years: After his parents found out about his homosexuality, supposedly having been told by his first boyfriend, who was emotionally and psychologically abusive, they ultimately rejected him and kicked him out. It was at this point that he took on the name Pepinôt, having never intended to use it as a super hero alias, but instead as a false name to separate him from his family because if they rejected him, there was no point in staying linked to them. Living on the streets, he had limited access to food and medication, and had very poor survival skills. As a result, he quickly fell very ill, and was found and taken to a hospital by a young man named Henri, who reluctantly took him in when he revealed he had nowhere else to go. Shortly after this, they began dating, and Pepinôt discovers Henri is addicted to drugs, though he honestly doesn't know enough to find out which ones. Henri also tends to lose his temper or lose control and ends up being physically and emotionally abusive towards him. Henri is, however, aware he is mistreating his boyfriend, and in moments where he is sober and with it, tends to try and convince him to leave. Pepinôt refuses for three reasons. The first of these is that, despite Henri's treatment of him, he feels he is still deeply in love with him. The second is that he simply has nowhere else to go and is scared of living on the streets again. The third reason is that he believes he can get Henri help for his issues. At some point in his teen years, the two go to Scotland, where they meet Scottish superhero Afton Redbird when she saves Pepinôt from drowning. Later, she is stationed in France by the hero group she is affiliated with, and the boys stay close to her. After accidentally getting involved in a fight and revealing they both have superpowers, the boys are inducted into the Hero Circle and receive training to master their abilities and be useful in some manner in a fight situation.
Adult years: Pepinôt becomes a nurse. He makes many new friends in his new career and breaks it off permanently with Henri when he is almost killed by one of his boyfriend's assaults. He tries to insist no charges are made. After this, he moves in with other friends he has made during his hero years. While working as a nurse, he meets Ryan Navara. They get a flat together and eventually marry and adopt some children. Pepinôt does not actively act as a hero unless the lives of those close to him are threatened. He does, however, still try and get Henri help for his problems.

History of family: Comes from a family with superpowers received through curses and viruses, but otherwise it is a fairly normal family line. His family line is taught homophobic values.
