Traits of Voice
Accent (if any): English
Language spoken: English
Other languages known: German, Portuguese, Chinese, Czech, Japanese, Norwegian
Style of speaking: Hiro is very much the strong and silent type. He prefers to stand in the background, looking intimidating. When he does speak, he changes his style depending on the kind of people he is with. With other sorcerers, his voice has little emotion put into it, and he tends to be very demanding and unkind, freely insulting anyone he comes across, even his friends. With his family and neighbours, he is more cheerful and tends to be good-natured and jokey.
Volume of voice: Low

Height: 5'8
Weight: 160 lbs

Hair style: Messy and unkempt, possibly gelled into an unruly mess.

Typical clothing: Hiro is almost always seen in a long, light purple coat and jeans. What he wears beneath the coat can vary between a suit shirt or a baggy hoodie or really anything, as long as it doesn't get bloody. He wears several silver rings on both hands, including a plain silver wedding ring.
Is seen by others as: Cold and heartless, a vicious psychopath or sociopath, selfish and cruel (to mages), smart and friendly, professional, good with kids and romantic (to mortals).
Personality
Likes: Magical artifacts, silver jewellery, scented candles and incense, bladed weapons, theatre
Dislikes: Soap bubbles, prawns, lectures (giving or receiving of), being woken in the middle of the night, needles, idiots meddling with things they don't understand.
Education: High school graduate
Fears: Needles and injections, spiders
Personal goals: To become a powerful sorcerer, to protect his children from harm, to build an extensive collection of magical artifacts.
General attitude: Depends on who he's around. With other sorcerers, Hiro gives the outward appearance of a cold and uncaring person, and numbs himself to what is going on around him. He is selfish and his mind is set on a track. Around his wife, children and people he doesn't have to watch himself around lest he be killed, rather than numbed, he is more on-edge. In both circumstances, he has things to hide, but with his family, outwardly, he can relax more. Nobody poses them a threat as far as he knows, so he is relaxed and generally in a good mood and a gentle and lenient parent.
Religious values: Athiest
General intelligence: Fairly high
General sociability: Low. Even when he's playing the role of your friendly neighbourhood dude, he doesn't like interacting with others much.
Health
Illnesses (if any): Asthma
Allergies (if any): Pollen and bees
Sleeping habits: Hiro will often catch sleep where and when he can, but it's not unusual for him to stay up long enough to completely exhaust himself when on a trail. He doesn't often manage a good night's sleep due to his lifestyle and his young children.
Energy level: Moderate
Eating habits: Again, Hiro will make do with what is available. His diet mostly consists of fatty snacks and shop sandwiches.
Memory: Hiro has a fair memory and gets very angry when he forgets something important.
Any unhealthy habits: Hiro tends to push himself beyond his limits and ends up in the office of his medical friend more times than he can remember. If he gets an enemy's blood on his fingers or weapon, he does tend to lick it off.
History
Birth country: England
Hometown: Telford
Childhood: Hiro was raised in a fairly normal Mortal family, blissfully unaware that his brother was also living a double life at the time. Born Thatch Ellard, he was very much the outwardly cheerful and friendly person he still displays in the mortal world. He was overweight as a child and teased badly for it, leaving him to be somewhat insecure about his body.
Teen years: Thatch began fighting back against the bullying, which caused him to be briefly suspended from school. When he returned, he was groomed and subsequently abused by one of his teachers, though, as by this point he had built up a reputation as a delinquent, almost nobody believed him. His elder brother's dealings in magic endangered Thatch and his younger sister, causing them to be kidnapped and attacked. He remembers little of what happened afterwards, but there were a lot of people he didn't recognise. Thatch displayed his own aptitude with magic within this altercation, and far from being deterred, he found the world of magic as the perfect opportunity to become strong enough to defend himself and his sister. He took the name Hiro Phantasmagoria and built up his abilities by instinct. Towards the beginnings of his adult years, Hiro chooses to study a mix of theatre and magic abroad, the latter to help him understand exactly what he's capable of. Instead of using this research to structure his own abilities (as was his original intention), however, he instead uses it to learn about the possible weaknesses of others and of the structure of the magical world itself.
Adult years: Hiro studies magic in Ireland, centering himself in Dublin. He slowly develops his obsession with magical artifacts and starts to research them and their whereabouts. This research is what brings him into contact with Esra Sunshine (a highly experienced science magic user Hiro will often go to when injured), Indishan Anonymous (an Australian detective who will turn a blind eye to the others' misdeeds as long as they are abroad), Ursa Borealis (An enemy of Indishan and an experienced killer) and Carmichael Hauter (Another collector of interesting artifacts and a necromancer). With this group, he travels to Germany to get his hands on a particular item. By this point, Hiro has already established himself as a murderer and a dangerous criminal. Only when in Germany does he hit the surge. He meets a mortal woman on his travels that he builds a strong bond with, becoming a pen pal under his mortal name and slowly finding himself attracted to. She comes to visit him in Ireland several times and eventually they start dating and then marry. Hiro actively hides this relationship from every sorcerer he knows and equally hides every sign of magic from his wife, Manuela. With extensive links in both worlds, he becomes an information broker, trading for either the items he craves, other information or a large sum of money. He still goes around killing people for the same three things.
Past places of residence: Dorsten, Germany.
History of family: Unknown.
Relationships
Parents: His parents were rather hands-of, but tended not to believe what Hiro told them. He did not trust them much.
Siblings: He has two, an older brother and a younger sister. His brother is also a sorcerer.
Any enemies (and why): The teacher who abused him. Scarlett Discord, a sorcerer who hates letting criminals have a free reign. Jasmin Orage, a detective with whom Hiro has clashed in the past. Arachne Basilisk and Daemon Scaroe, who also have a strong interest in magical artifacts. Kelpsie Repine, simply due to a personality clash. Garnet Dorado, after a violent clash likely involving Ursa or Esra. Possibly Myron Stray and China Sorrows.
Children: Macey, aged 7, Cicely, aged 4 and Mimi, aged 2. Hiro cares about them deeply and often feels bad when he goes out knowing he'll be going into a dangerous situation. Hiro hopes his daughters never find out about magic, as he knows how dangerous it can be. (In one piece I wrote that he has 6 children, so for now we shall say that at age 52 he has these three, but may have more in future.) Hiro wishes to have a son.
Friends: Possibly Esra Sunshine, Ursa Borealis, Indishan Anonymous, Carmichael Hauter, Benedict Electrolytic and Richard Sloth. He has a few Mortal friends as well.
Best friend(s): He appears to be fairly close to Richard Sloth despite being a known killer. Possibly Carmichael Hauter.
Important friends/relatives (explain): None specifically come to mind.
Love interest (if there is one): Manuela Baader

Pet peeves: People who make ridiculous amounts of noise when exercising, the phrase 'blonde moment', clicking pens.
