History

Birth country: England
Hometown: Unknown
Childhood: John's mother died within hours of his birth. He was found with her body and taken to an orphanage, where he was given the name John. Little attention was paid to his development, meaning his delays were missed. He was adopted by a family who found they were unable to deal with the signs he exhibited linked to his undiagnosed autism. He was passed on to a different foster family, but the father died suddenly, causing the mother to turn to alcohol and become abusive. This caused John to run away, taking a knife from the kitchen for protection. He was attacked several times while living on the streets. When he was seven, he managed to track down his biological father, a wealthy philanthropist who had secretly been committing several counts of fraud and sexual assault. When John approached him, he realised that John could be linked to one of his sexual assaults and, promising to give the boy food and a warm bed, he led him down an alley and attempted to kill him. John fought back with his knife, and lost his eye in the process, but attracted the attention of passers by, meaning he survived while his father died. Knowing his father's surname to be St Crow, John officially took the surname as his own surname. He was passed through several other foster homes throughout his life. At age 10, he received his Hogwarts acceptance letter and was sorted into Ravenclaw. He quickly fell in with two other students with severe insecurities and they became the main bullies of their year in order to draw attention away from their insecurities.
Teen years: John befriends a girl named Penny as well as his usual group, but continues viciously bullying others. He is the most formidable of the group. At age 13, he is adopted into a pureblood family that has a 12-year-old daughter. He is very excited by the idea of having a younger sister. Despite his new sister also bullying others, again quite viciously, she is very gentle and understanding around John. At age 15, he is groomed into a sexual relationship by a Slytherin girl in his year, who subsequently cuts him off completely when she ends up pregnant. He does not understand what has happened and at first seems upset, but quickly returns to his usual self. At the beginning of Summer, the Slytherin girl gives birth but dies in the process and insists that John and his family gain custody of the child before she dies as he's the father and she doesn't trust her own parents, thus John gains a daughter. He refers to the infant as 'the first thing he has ever loved'. His daughter dies at the end of the holidays in a house fire after the brother of one of the students John bullies pulls an arson attack that starts a fire in the baby's bedroom. John is badly injured and almost killed in the process. His sister has to force him out of the burning building when he is unwilling to leave without his daughter's body. He does not return to school until three months after the beginning of 6th year due to severe depression. He refuses to speak to anyone for at least half of his 6th year, but eventually starts to speak again. In his 7th year, he appears cured of his depressive episode. However, the Langdon family is no longer able to keep him within his household. No longer being within the age limit of orphanage-dependent youths, John is to figure out a place to live by himself. He does not tell any of his friends about his situation and fails to secure a place to live, ending up on the streets again.
Adult years: John remains on the streets for a couple of years or so before being noticed by Penny. They hang out for a time before he reveals he lives on the streets (as he is greatly averse to lying and liars). She offers to let him stay with her and he accepts. Eventually, they enter into a relationship and she proposes marriage after a few years. They have six children together, the first born being a daughter who is attacked by a dog and killed, and the first son of whom has serious psychological issues that cause him to violently attack and even attempt to kill other members of his family. John and this son get into a violent fight when Ansel tries to drown one of his younger siblings. John violently rejects his eldest son and tries to kill him. Both are then sent to a high security mental hospital known as the Mason Holt hospital, where they are both treated for their individual severe psychological issues. After his daughter dies but before Ansel is born, John manages to track down his mother's brother.
Past places of residence: England, various places. Hogwarts castle.
History of family: His father was a philanthropist in outward appearance who committed many crimes behind closed doors. He was a muggle. His mother was a halfblood witch who was sexually assaulted by Michal St Crow, resulting in her pregnancy.

Relationships

Parents: Michal St Crow, who tried to kill him, and Linda Clifford, who he has never met. He has several adoptive/foster parents.
Siblings: He is an only child. For a time, he counts Camilla Langdon as his sister when he is adopted by her family.
Any enemies (and why): Michal St Crow and the man who murdered his first daughter. The parents of the Slytherin girl (Brook D'Eaglefinn) also notably dislike him. John also has an intense hatred for Hunt Clavell, one of his Ravenclaw dorm mates. This hatred has no obvious cause, he just hated at first sight, however, since he hates him enough to get violent and threatening if Hunt comes too close, it is possible that John can tell that Hunt is dangerous and a bad person.
Children: Agnes St Crow (Deceased), Maisie St Crow (Deceased), Ansel St Crow, Aloysius St Crow, Elijah St Crow, Bartholomew St Crow, Primrose St Crow.
Friends: Eric Kessler, one of the bullies in his group and a fellow Ravenclaw. Eric's insecurity comes from his sexuality, however he outwardly appears very confident and arrogant, especially with other homosexual men. Riordan Damek, another one of the bullies and a Gryffindor student. Riordan gets visions that actively affect his day to day life, which is the cause of his insecurity.
Best friend(s): Penny Merryweather, a Hufflepuff student who tries to stop John from bullying others.
Important friends/relatives (explain): Camilla Langdon. She is briefly considered his sister and saves him from the house fire. She also stuck by him and tried to help him through his depression.
Love interest (if there is one): Brook D'Eaglefinn (Formerly), Penny Merryweather.
