He and his brother tended to be jealous of each other and fought a lot. Because he was a sickly child, Dylan struggled to make friends at school and was often mocked a lot, however he seemed to take this mockery in his stride and often made up his own insults for himself and laughed along with everyone else. After all, from what he could see, playful insults were normal anyway. Regardless, everyone pretty much hated him and he eventually realised this. The majority of attention he was given by his parents was medical, and he primarily felt like he was a burden to them rather than a beloved offspring, especially since it was different to the attention given to his brother. Regardless, because of the amount of attention given, that formed the reason for his brother to be jealous of him. At age 10, Dylan tried to make friends online, and succeeded in befriending Prince Osbaldeston and Franklyn Simmons.
Teen years: By the time Dylan was a teenager, he had given up trying to make friends at school and mostly kept to himself, refusing to talk to other students. He was considered selectively mute. This, alongside his various health problems which caused him to look physically repulsive in the opinion of some of his classmates, caused his previous bullying to become much worse. His parents often complained whenever an issue came up with Dylan, including further medical problems such as his eczema and anaemia, or staff at school wanting to talk to them about Dylan's refusal to talk to or interact with peers. After a while, Dylan came to believe his parents hated and rejected him, as all attention they gave him was negative and even at times turned verbally and emotionally abusive. At some point, his father and brother both stopped speaking directly to him and would only talk about him, often within his earshot and often pretending he didn't exist at all. Dylan began to write songs and share them with Prince and Franklyn as the other two did the same. Dylan passed his exams and promised Franklyn and Prince he would try to go to a university near them. It is unknown exactly when he got his guitar or started flight lessons. Dylan did ultimately attend university in Manchester, where he met both Prince and Franklyn in person. From the time he began attending the university in question, he began trying to form friendships and relationships, but found himself failing and being rejected repeatedly.
Adult years: When he was 18, he and his friends decided to form a band. By the time Dylan was 25, Three Tin Cans had become a successful band, though when exactly it kicked off is unknown. By this point, Dylan had already started to drink and sleep around as a coping strategy. His brother, Dale, though still highly jealous and resentful of Dylan, began talking to him again, realising his behaviour was cruel and that his brother was probably in a bad place. The initial conversation may have been started as a result of Dylan reaching out to him during an episode of depression.

Siblings: He has an older brother named Dale. Dylan and Dale have never gotten on well. Both are incredibly jealous of each other, Dylan of Dale because Dale is the favourite son and gets all the affection, and Dale of Dylan because, even though it was purely medical and there was little to no affection, Dylan got more attention, and later because of Dylan's musical success. It is likely that both boys suffered from emotional neglect at the hands of their parents. Despite being jealous, Dale does care about his brother and often worries about his health. Neither boy really feels they can talk to the other about their issues, and they only really reach out to one another when desperate.
Any enemies (and why): He isn't sure he really considers anyone an enemy as such. He holds grudges against his parents and elder brother to the point that he is very happy to cut the former from his life permanently, and bullying has stuck with him and is something he is still subject to in his adult life, but he appears to have forgiven his bullies.
Children: None known, though, knowing his habits, it is entirely plausible that Dylan has at some point conceived an illegitimate child, whether he knows it or not.

When he was 14, his father found out his mother was cheating on him, and after months of non-stop fighting the two split up. At one point, Prince started writing songs that he shared with his online friends. Hien Hart-Williams (Band Project Continuity Only)
As Hien's original file is a bit of a mess of the original series and the next gen series he was originally created for, and as the version of him that exists in a series of semi-linked oneshots I'm writing (The Band Project, I have lots of ideas but have actually written very few, especially as I'm still designing characters) is a mix of both versions, I'm rewriting his file as just the version of Hien from The Band Project. Because this file was already pre-written as the old version, this is technically the first file released for The Band Project. Things to note: All the characters in bands in TBP are meant to be very young. The oldest characters are 30.

Childhood: Hien was the youngest of five born to his father (four to his mother) and the only son. From a young age, he had a strong interest in music and writing. He was diagnosed with OI 1 at a young age and tended to be anxious and reluctant to join in certain games out of fear of breaking something and getting hurt, and essentially had always been an anxious child. In elementary school, Hien befriended Tony Chun and the two tended to get bullied quite badly by their peers. In this reality, Hien's father died when he was 10 as a result of complications of a heart defect.
Teen years: By the time Hien hit his teen years, his elder siblings had moved out of the house. Hien continued strongly with his interest in music and writing, including writing songs, and was gifted with a guitar on his 13th birthday. He and his friend were still bullied at school, but they also made a new friend at middle school named Bella. Hien later met Tremayne Morden-O'Callaghary while practicing his guitar where the other could hear, at his uncle's house with the window open. Tremayne essentially butted in out of nowhere and, upon realising Hien lacked confidence, decided to try and help him with his confidence. He also introduced him to Chester McCain, and Hien in turn introduced those two to Tony and Bella. As all five could play instruments, they decided to try and learn some of the songs Hien and Tremayne had written. After playing at venues open to the general public to perform and were talent spotted by a professional musical agent. They named their band Dark Pulse after playing around with some other names. Each band member took on a stage name and built a physical appearance around this, with Hien's being 'The Scorpion'. At some point after becoming a professional musician, Hien met Sally Davies and the two began dating.
Adult years: Dark Pulse became a successful band. The band went on a brief hiatus the year Hien turned 24 following the births of Burt Chun, Louie Morden-O'Callaghary, Lindsey Morden-O'Callaghary and Bambi Hart-Williams, but reformed after he turned 25 for the festival and battle of the bands that becomes the centre point of the story collection The Band Project. They have the significant advantage that these take place in their home state.

He was diagnosed with OI 1 at a young age and tended to be anxious and reluctant to join in certain games out of fear of breaking something and getting hurt, and essentially had always been an anxious child. In elementary school, Hien befriended Tony Chun and the two tended to get bullied quite badly by their peers. In this reality, Hien's father died when he was 10 as a result of complications of a heart defect.
Teen years: By the time Hien hit his teen years, his elder siblings had moved out of the house. Hien continued strongly with his interest in music and writing, including writing songs, and was gifted with a guitar on his 13th birthday. He and his friend were still bullied at school, but they also made a new friend at middle school named Bella. Hien later met Tremayne Morden-O'Callaghary while practicing his guitar where the other could hear, at his uncle's house with the window open. Tremayne essentially butted in out of nowhere and, upon realising Hien lacked confidence, decided to try and help him with his confidence. He also introduced him to Chester McCain, and Hien in turn introduced those two to Tony and Bella. As all five could play instruments, they decided to try and learn some of the songs Hien and Tremayne had written. After playing at venues open to the general public to perform and were talent spotted by a professional musical agent. They named their band Dark Pulse after playing around with some other names. Each band member took on a stage name and built a physical appearance around this, with Hien's being 'The Scorpion'. At some point after becoming a professional musician, Hien met Sally Davies and the two began dating.
Adult years: Dark Pulse became a successful band. The band went on a brief hiatus the year Hien turned 24 following the births of Burt Chun, Louie Morden-O'Callaghary, Lindsey Morden-O'Callaghary and Bambi Hart-Williams, but reformed after he turned 25 for the festival and battle of the bands that becomes the centre point of the story collection The Band Project. They have the significant advantage that these take place in their home state.

Teen years: Ezra started actively taking dance classes, able to use what he had learnt from his mother to his advantage. He continued with swimming classes, which, after a certain stage, became focused on competitive swimming. He fixed himself into the goal of competing on a worldwide scale, mostly with swimming as he was concerned about how others viewed him. His family sent him to specialised swimming training. He attended the same secondary school as Rin, and attempted to befriend him. He was not necessarily successful. It is partly due to Rin's poor English when they met that Ezra wished to learn Japanese, if anything to make things easier for him. Ezra began taking part in low-level dance competitions, primarily focused on couple-dance. At an unknown time, Ezra started taking part in synchronised swimming classes that his sister told him about. At some point, he ended up choosing to attend the same university as Hayden, Alison and Rin. Again, at an unknown time, during his teen years, Ezra agreed to babysit for a family friend. As a result, he's found he's not very good with small children and tends to be quite wary of upsetting them.
Adult years: Ezra meets Alison Melgar, Hayden Smith and Rin Matsuoka at university, and befriends them. Ezra only appears in the fic the three Australians were originally written for when Rin was still attending, which is at the beginning, and when Rin next sees Alison and Hayden, Ezra has left the group. This is because, during his time as a swimmer, he hit a wall and lost confidence in himself, finding himself falling behind those around him. As he was still making improvements in his dance and winning competitions, and still had confidence in his dance abilities, he chose to focus on that instead. He continues to swim recreationally. Thanks to a joke with my friend, Ezra's story ends with him going to Japan for a competition, where he meets Makoto, befriends him and eventually falls in love with him.

Teen years: Ezra started actively taking dance classes, able to use what he had learnt from his mother to his advantage. He continued with swimming classes, which, after a certain stage, became focused on competitive swimming. It is partly due to Rin's poor English when they met that Ezra wished to learn Japanese, if anything to make things easier for him. Ezra began taking part in low-level dance competitions, primarily focused on couple-dance. At an unknown time, Ezra started taking part in synchronised swimming classes that his sister told him about. At some point, he ended up choosing to attend the same university as Hayden, Alison and Rin. Again, at an unknown time, during his teen years, Ezra agreed to babysit for a family friend. As a result, he's found he's not very good with small children and tends to be quite wary of upsetting them.
Adult years: Ezra meets Alison Melgar, Hayden Smith and Rin Matsuoka at university, and befriends them. Ezra only appears in the fic the three Australians were originally written for when Rin was still attending, which is at the beginning, and when Rin next sees Alison and Hayden, Ezra has left the group. This is because, during his time as a swimmer, he hit a wall and lost confidence in himself, finding himself falling behind those around him. As he was still making improvements in his dance and winning competitions, and still had confidence in his dance abilities, he chose to focus on that instead. He continues to swim recreationally.
