Physical Appearance

Height: 6'0

Build of body: Athletic, muscular
Hair colour: Brown
Hair style: Short, tousled.
Complexion: Clear

Typical clothing: Erskine dresses in a smart-casual style, and is very conscious of fashion faux pas. He doesn't like having sleeves or legs rolled up or buttons undone, preferring to keep himself covered. He prefers clothes that are single-coloured. Beneath his boots, he often wears Star Trek socks.
Is seen by others as: A bratty bully, childish, spoiled and overconfident, with an air of arrogance and an unbearable prejudice towards people with certain interests (in childhood). As an adult (where he is primarily seen, though what was planned to be the third piece with them in is set during his childhood) Erskine is rude, abrasive and overly defensive. He clearly feels great guilt over the events of his childhood, and when fingered as the instigator of any violence, he can become small, frightened and fragile. He seems to be very excitable, however this might be a nervous reaction more than anything else, as it is primarily displayed when he is lost or in hospital. He can be extremely moody at times. He tends to swear.

Personality

Likes: Long walks and nature, Star Trek, whiskey, white musk perfume, paintball, musicals, marine life (especially the strange ones that live in the dark recesses), Chinese food.
Dislikes: Cold weather, Valentine's Day, flowers, cards, rain, swimming (due to trauma), rats, McDonald's (due to trauma)
Education: Throughout the series, Erskine is a University student, studying marine biology and care of marine animals.
Fears: Ghosts, underground trains and traveling underground, caves, being controlled
Personal goals: To work at an aquarium, to go one damn year without being attacked by some supernatural thing.
General attitude: Erskine generally has the feeling that the world is against him and that he needs to be on high alert around others, which is what causes him to be so harsh to others. He is highly distrusting of others and a strong believer of every man for himself.
Religious values: Protestant
General intelligence: Pretty much average. He does not come across as especially intelligent or especially stupid, but he is easily manipulated.
General sociability: In childhood, Erskine is highly extroverted and loves either making new friends or mocking others. He had a large circle of friends despite his unkind nature. In adulthood, no longer trusting others, he only speaks to others when absolutely necessary. He cuts himself off from his school friends, but just about manages to get along/tolerate those he shares a student housing with. He is able to speak at length with Mario in a way he isn't able to with any members of his family.

Health

Illnesses (if any): Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, possible anxiety disorder
Allergies (if any): Chocolate and pollen are known allergies of his.
Sleeping habits: Erskine is a fitful sleeper and prone to nightmares. He is usually not able to sleep unless cuddling something close to his chest, be it a toy, his pillow or his boyfriend's arm. He tends to drool, and will awaken several times in the night, which will either add to his moody nature or cause him to enter a sleep-deprived hyperactivity.
Energy level: Normally, he appears to be lazy and lethargic, though there are periods where he will be strangely hyperactive and energetic.
Eating habits: Erskine generally has a very big appetite.
Memory: Unfortunately exceptional. Especially when it comes to his traumas.
Any unhealthy habits: He is a rather heavy drinker, something he has taken to in an attempt to block out the aforementioned traumas. He tends not to face his issues or fears and instead will run and hide from things he ought to work out.

History

Birth country: Ireland
Hometown: Unspecified. It's a place he doesn't want to talk about or return to. Bad memories.
Childhood: Erskine was born into a family that on the outside looked fairly normal. His mother was deaf and illiterate (she insists it is not due to a disability and may be somewhat ableist) and his father felt things should be quiet and peaceful. He used to bring strangers into the house and insist Erskine and his sister stay in their room (shared) until it was 'safe to come out'. They often heard very unsettling sounds. Erskine was scared of his father, but would never admit it. When he was seven, his father was convicted of murder, and the rest of the family was moved away. He was never quite sure what was going on, but he easily realised his father had been arrested and imprisoned. Not feeling comfortable or happy at home, he began to act out in other settings.
Teen years: Erskine found himself making plenty of friends at his secondary school and began to bully others, finding a niche. One of his main targets was Mario Norwood, the other main character from his series. He receives a head injury while messing around at a common hang out spot, a quarry, where he falls and badly hurts himself. Towards the end of his time at that school, age 16 or so, Erskine finds a cursed demon box disguised as a McDonald's Happy Meal and at first believes it to be amazing. The demon within uses him, forcing his hand to make sacrifices, kidnapping his classmates and feeding them to the box, starting with one of his best friends. After the third victim, Erskine begins to shake himself free of his possession, and tries to fight back, recognising what is happening. The box continues to exact its control over him and no matter how horrified he gets, Erskine must rely on classmates and bullying victims Mario Norwood and Eddie McCune to save him and stop the box. After an investigation is put in place, Erskine moves away.
Adult years: At age 18, Erskine is briefly romantically involved with a man named Cecil, who turns out to be a psychopath who tries to kill anyone interested in Erskine or Erskine himself, until he manages to get away and hide. Erskine begins to study marine biology and starts working towards aquarium work, attending a rather small university and sharing a student housing with five others. He does not trust them and tries his best not to interact with them, but when they start acting cruel towards him as a result, he forces himself out of his shell. Yet again, he is forced into supernatural circumstances when a trip on the London Underground (a trip to visit his sister on her birthday) goes horribly, horribly wrong. During this time, many people die, causing poor Erskine to panic. Mario Norwood, also a passenger on the train, accuses him of being the murderer. The passengers work towards the front of the train, finding each carriage to have been changed into a strange and dangerous environment they must pass, while each passenger is being picked out for death one by one. He survives and, driven by stress, relief, adrenaline and panic, kisses Mario. After some argument, followed by some catching up, they enter into a relationship. On one of their dates, Erskine is attacked and tortured by the ghost of Corbrey Coburn, the best friend that was his first victim when possessed by the box. Mario, once again with the help of Eddie McCune, manage to save him and exorcise Corbrey's spirit. Erskine ends up in hospital and on a long recuperation period for his grievous injuries. While he is in hospital, Cecil tracks him down and tries to kill him again, only for Mario to stop him. During Erskine's recovery, Mario helps him at his student housing. Both men plan to propose marriage on the same evening. They marry and go abroad for their honeymoon, where they encounter Erskine's sister, who is greatly disapproving of the marriage. A succubus is working with her and planning to use the souls of those she captures, as well as the souls of the models she works with to gain an great power. The succubus captures Mario within her power, and this time Erskine must save him. Role reversal! He is forced to work with his homophobic sister (and possibly other models) to save him and the world.
Past places of residence: Ireland, unspecified
History of family: Unknown, beyond his father being a convicted criminal and his mother being deaf.

Relationships

Parents: His parents were very distant with their children. His father demanded silence at all times, and his mother was difficult to communicate with due to personality traits.
Siblings: Erskine's younger sister, Carla, is a model and is strongly homophobic. They have never been close, but he still appreciates having a sister.
Any enemies (and why): Corbrey Coburn, who, as a spirit, tortured Erskine as punishment for his death. Cecil 'The Hun', Erskine's ex, extremely violent. Radoslava Anghelova Vitanova, a succubus who manages to ensnare Erskine's husband. Mario Norwood and Eddie McCune (formerly), when Erskine was possessed.
Children: It is known he and Mario do wish to have children, but whether they have any in the end is unknown.
Friends: In childhood: Corbrey Coburn, Ailin Kuipers, Shanahan O'Reilly, Reid Langley, Howard Burch, Darach McKairin and Damien Yeardon, his circle in secondary school. It is heavily suggested he had a crush on Darach. In adulthood, he is vaguely considered a friend with those he shares a student housing with. They are Jenna Jackson, Tyson Rolle, Jaspar Arrington, Gillian Mishra and Monika Kumar. Monika is known to fancy him. After being saved by him, it is possible he considers Eddie McCune a friend.
Best friend(s): In childhood, Corbrey Coburn and Reid Langley.
Important friends/relatives (explain): Mario Norwood and Eddie McCune, who save his life twice and help him through several supernatural occurrences.
Love interest (if there is one): Darach McKairin (Formerly), Cecil 'The Hun' (formerly), Mario Norwood
