Style of speaking: Adam has a very soft voice. He is blunt and to the point, and hates to tiptoe around unpleasant subjects. His bluntness can make him appear rude and standoffish, When interrupted, be it by his own coughing or an outside source, he will generally restart what he was saying from the very beginning, no matter how long he has already been talking for.
Volume of voice: Low. He tries not to raise his voice unless absolutely necessary, and when he does, he tends to fall into a coughing fit.

Childhood: Adam was born to Francyne Todd and Emrys Weldon-Whitlock, a pureblood wizard. In his infancy, he was diagnosed with CF. His father was abusive towards both him and his mother, who never had any intention of leaving. Over time, he became an older brother, and his younger siblings were more prone to their father's temper. Unable to fight back, he primarily spent his time comforting them. He was accepted into Hogwarts where he was sorted into Slytherin and very quickly aspired to become a healer.
Teen years: Adam stuck out as a delinquent, picking up a temper as a result of his home life. He refused to do homework, finding it only ever succeeded in stressing him out and worsening his aggressive side. At age 14, his father left the household after violently attacking his younger brother, an event he was witness to. He withdrew for a time from socialisation and his attitude problem worsened. Additionally, his grades began to suffer and he considered, due to his physical health problems, that healer was an unrealistic profession for him to undertake. At age 17, his frequent detentions and being forced to leave classes cause him to meet with a girl who he rarely has classes with but whom he is in the same year as. Though he is awkward by nature and tends to mess up in social situations (especially around a girl he likes), they end up in a relationship. Additionally, as his brother, Nicky, joins at Hogwarts and is subsequently bullied, Adam gets in trouble for hurting junior students, which he does purely to get them away from his little brother and usually on instinct.
Adult years: Adam remains in the family home for a couple of years as he is the only one capable of calming Nicky's breakdowns, but upon seeing their third brother is able to help, he happily leaves. He takes a desk job in the Ministry and continues his relationship with his school girlfriend, Esther-Rose. Eventually, they do marry. At age 21, he is invited to his mother's wedding to a man named Arnold Ha. 6 years later, Arnold dies and Francyne falls seriously ill. When his siblings (Georgie, Jaimie and Dorcas, as Nicky has also moved away by this point) fail to make ends meet, Adam agrees to return to the family home for a time to help them. Over the remaining three years to age 30, his condition worsens considerably, however he does his best to head the family. Despite believing (simply because he has CF, this was never actively tested) that he is infertile, he conceives a child with Esther-Rose at age 30, but dies the same year.

History of family: It is known he is of pureblood descent and that his paternal uncles are metamorphmagi.

Parents: Francyne Todd, a pureblood and former Ravenclaw, occupation unknown. Emrys Weldon-Whitlock, a pureblood and former Slytherin, occupation unknown. He looks most like his father, and has had two step-parents in the past. Arnold Ha and Tracie Forlow.
Siblings: Adam has four younger brothers. Nicky, Georgie, Jaimie and Dorcas. In his original design, Adam was the twin brother of Jaimie, and they had no other siblings. In a redo of the family, Adam was replaced with Dorcas, the design and house of the twins changed and Adam later added back in as an older brother and the version seen here. As they have the smallest age difference (5 years), Adam is closest to Nicky. There is 14 years difference between him and the twins.
Any enemies (and why): Anyone who hurts or bullies his younger brothers, his father. He has no named enemies in his own year.
Children: His son is named Kenzie.
Friends: At school, he is friends with Jacob Gelfond, another Slytherin boy who enjoys gardening and herbology, Silas Pratt, a Slytherin Transgender boy who often teased Adam for being the same height as him (as at the time, Silas had not told anyone he identified as male and remained under his female birth name), and Isidore Kammer, a Hufflepuff boy who was very kind and encouraging. It is possible he has the same friends in adulthood, however to date I have not created any other characters who have desk jobs at the ministry. And even then, ones who have any job in the ministry are 5-8 years younger than him and in the law enforcement dept.
