Traits of Voice

Accent (if any): Japan, Yokohama
Language spoken: Japanese
Other languages known: English
Style of speaking: Blunt and to the point. Rin is an honest person who likes to speak to others as equals, but will not give respect if respect is not also given to them. They tend not to speak to new people unless first spoken to.
Volume of voice: Rather low initially, but louder (yet not especially loud) once comfortable with others.

Physical Appearance

Height: 6'0
Weight: 170 lbs
Eye colour: Heterochromic. Left eye hazel, right eye dark brown.
Skin colour: Fair
Shape of face: Round and a bit thin?
Distinguishing features: Heterochromic, freckles across their cheeks and the bridge of their nose, a generally androgynous appearance.
Build of body: Slim. For someone who is biologically male, they have rather wide hips and a rather narrow waist.
Hair colour: Red
Hair style: Short, block fringe, hair passes the nape of the neck at the back, but does not reach the chin at the front. Large tufts in front of their ears.
Posture: Relatively straight, but does tend to sit into one hip when relaxed.
Tattoos: None
Piercings: Left earlobe.
Typical clothing: In school uniform, they usually prefer to not wear their blazer. Being biologically male, Rin is required to wear the male uniform for the school, which consists of a white button-up shirt, sky blue blazer, grey trousers, a navy tie with thin yellow stripes and brown slip-on shoes. They also tend to wear a lace-trim choker and, in summer and when possible, will not wear the blazer or tie (even if it does get them detention) and often wears their shirt untucked. Normally, Rin's school is very strict on uniform, and uniform infringement is 90% of what gets Rin into trouble.
When it comes to casual wear, Rin's style is rather varied. They are good at coordinating outfits into something that looks good, but have a fondness for slightly oversized hooded jumpers. They also have a huge thing for high heels, and have a quite large collection of them, both simple everyday style and quite out there and eccentric in style, and has been able to form an outfit around each and every pair.
Is seen by others as: Rather blunt, oversensitive, easily spooked, the kind of person who avoids drama.

Personality

Likes: Adventure games, owls, dramatic fantasy shows, toads and similar amphibians, heeled shoes, preferably ones that both look nice, are strong (because they've worn stupid cheap weak heels that broke under their weight before) and fit right.
Dislikes: Bow ties, fairy tales, stained glass, glassware in general, rainy days, snow, stuffy formal wear
Education: Senior High School Student, first year. In the original series, Rin got to university, but it is unknown if they passed.
Fears: Ghosts, flying, snakes, fairies and clowns.
Personal goals: To be comfortable with expressing themselves, to be an architect or an actor, to gain a greater sense of who they are and help others struggling with their identities, to escape Heavenly Host alive and with their friends (In CP), to remain friends with Sadako and Kazuya as long as possible and to forge their own path in life.
General attitude: Generally he keeps his mouth shut when not being directly spoken to, but can be very blunt and does not sugarcoat things. They are sensitive and shy, but when comfortable with someone can talk until the cows come home, as shown when they are with their Heavenly Host group. Despite being exceedingly shy and content to keep out of things that might get them in trouble, Rin is a rather rebellious person who prefers to do what they feel is the best move, rather than what others tell them to.
Religious values: Athiest
General intelligence: Fair
General sociability: Fair

Illnesses (if any): None
Allergies (if any): None
Sleeping habits: Rin has trouble getting to sleep and staying asleep, and will often wake several times a night, usually because their bladder is full or their stomach is empty. Or because their leg is hanging over the side of the bed again. Their body is annoyingly sensitive to these things.
Energy level: Fair.
Eating habits: They're a picky eater, but otherwise eats well and has a very large appetite.
Memory: Quite good. Describes themselves as having a photographic memory.
Any unhealthy habits: Always skips breakfast. Rin is one of those people who feels ill if they eat too early in the morning, but always regrets it by the time they get to school.

History

Birth country: Japan
Hometown: Yokohama
Childhood: Rin at a young age was uncomfortable with the ideas surrounding gender, identifying closely with males and females their own age. They found masculinity and femininity based stigmas to be stupid and didn't understand why they couldn't wear skirts if they felt like it, but at the same time felt uncomfortable with many aspects of stereotypical girlishness. Rin was often shamed for their more feminine side and did not consider themselves to be 'one of the boys' or 'one of the girls', but did clearly understand that they were male and so physically different to the girls in their class. From a young age, they were uncomfortable with their physical appearance. Rin's parents had very strict plans for what they wanted for their children and already had Rin's 'ideal future' planned out, something Rin discovered at a relatively young age. Touya, Rin's brother, had already achieved the dream his parents set out for him, but Rin didn't like the idea of having their whole future managed for them, without their own say.
Teen years: Rin became more adventurous with experimentation with what is generally considered masculine and feminine. Upon hearing about transgenderism, Rin dithered with the idea of whether or not they were transgender for a while, and spoke with both their brother and best friend on the subject. They were both sworn to secrecy. Rin struggled significantly to find a ground on which they could be comfortable. As a teenager, Rin rebelled against their parents' plans for them, wanting to find their own path in life, causing a family rift. They were bullied, but Kazuya and eventually Sadako were rather protective of them, and Rin tended to feign disinterest in the words of their bullies, using their talent in acting to aid them. They have little defense against physical bullying until their mother decides to put him in martial arts and self-defense classes, as the school seemed unwilling to do anything about the bullying problem. In the Corpse Party story, towards the end of their first year in high school, Rin performs the Sachiko Ever After charm with Kazuya, Sadako, Hikari and their homeroom teacher, Fuku-Sensei, after Kazuya finds the charm on the internet, resulting in all five of them ending up in Heavenly Host. In this timeline, it is very possible that Rin and all their friends died.
Adult years: In the original series, Rin moves to the UK to study, and struggles to make friends simply due to their own shyness. During this time, they meet Vic and Rashid, who first interact with Rin when they hear them playing guitar and singing. They actively try to befriend them and eventually jokingly decide to form a band alongside Rashid's younger sister. Through currently unknown means, most likely connections Vic has, the four strike a record deal with their band, Thrill Ride Pirates.
Past places of residence: Yokohama, Japan
History of family: Unknown.

Relationships

Parents: Yuuichi and Yasuka. Rin argues with them a lot, as they have always been rather controlling and undoubtedly disappointed in Rin's choices.
Siblings: Rin has two siblings, a younger sister and an older brother. The sister is called Hanaka and the brother Touya. They are noticeably closer to their brother than their sister, but Touya is considerably older than Rin, and by the time Rin is 15, Touya has already moved into his own house, limiting their contact. Hanaka tends to distance herself from them, as she's seen what Rin's rebellious nature gets her and wants to stay in her parents' favour.
Any enemies (and why): They have been bullied, both physically and emotionally, during their school years, and I suppose in Heavenly Host, the vengeful spirits present there.
Children: N/A
Friends: Hikari Hirakawa, Kazuya Kazahara and Sadako Heida. Kazuya is the only person Rin knows that uses gender neutral pronouns with them, for which they are grateful. Both Kazuya and Hikari are very protective of Rin, despite them being significantly bigger than both of them. Kazuya refers to Rin as Rin-Chan, and Rin refers to Kazuya as Kazu-Chan. Hikari is not as close, and generally refers to them by surname even though Rin refers to her by first name (Tousei-Kun and Hikari-San). They both appear to accept Rin's gender identity. Sadako is much shier than the others, and is not especially close to Rin, but they both think the other is nice. Rin is convinced Heida-San likes Kazu-Chan, but she may actually like Rin-Chan. She refers to all of them by surname-Kun. In the original series, Rin is also friends with band mates Rashid Jaiswal, Amna Jaiswal and Vic Stringer.
Best friend(s): Kazuya.
Important friends/relatives (explain): None specifically come to mind, but I suppose it is significant that Kazu, Hikari, Touya, Sadako, Fuku, Rashid, Amna and Vic are all as accepting as they are?
Love interest (if there is one): N/A

Combat

Peaceful or violent: Generally peaceful, but can fight back to defend themselves.
Weapon (if applicable): N/A
Style of fighting: Generally utilises basic self-defense tactics and elements of various martial arts.
